“I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds.”
Psalm 77:12
Lecture Phase
The Word by Heart (WBH) school trains storytellers, bringing the words of Jesus to life by bridging cultures and languages. The stories will become so real to you that you will be an eyewitness. Once you have experienced the Gospels like this, natural memory is unlocked and you will be able to share a Gospel book word for word in your mother language in just three months.
Can you imagine seeing Jesus heal a withered hand, or touch the leper and make him clean? Thousands of people did see the miracles and heard every nuance of His words. Each of them told others. Those stories were vivid and believable because the eyewitnesses were there. Through the Word by Heart training, we create imaginary memories of these real events.
We argue that live storytelling—one human talking face to face with another—is God’s original truth-sharing medium. And still the best. Truth is not a concept: his name is Jesus. Truth is relational.
